This test is not performed by Beaumont Laboratory. If the patient arrives at a Beaumont Laboratory Patient Service Center with a Sequenom mail kit, the Laboratory will provide phlebotomy services, processing of the specimen, and shipping only. Sequenom form(s) must be filled out by the ordering physician and provided with the kit. Sequenom will bill the patient's insurance and/or patient for this testing independent of Beaumont Laboratory. The patient may be responsible for all or a portion of the Sequenom charge. Results will be sent by Sequenom to the ordering physician only. Note: Can be collected ANY day. Keep sample room temperature.
