This test is not performed by Beaumont Laboratory. If the patient arrives at a Beaumont Laboratory Patient Service Center with a Prometheus- Anser^R requisition. The Laboratory will provide phlebotomy services, processing of the specimen, and shipping only. Prometheus Anser^R form(s) must be filled out by the ordering physician. Prometheus will bill the patient's insurance and/or patient for this testing independent of Beaumont Laboratory. The patient may be responsible for all or a portion of the Prometheus charge. Results will be sent by Prometheus to the ordering physician only. Contact Prometheus directly for result inquiries at 888-423-5227.
