Effective August 5, 2014, this test is no longer available. This non-specific test has been replaced by more specific markers for muscle or liver damage, largely other enzyme tests such as Creatine Kinase (CK), Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), and Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), which would need to be approved by the ordering doctor.
